As of the 26th of April, Alain Proietto and Sofia Belfasto have proudly inaugurated the second LCDH store in Switzerland. In addition, they were able to maintain the long-standing tradition of operating a La Casa del Habano store in Lugano. This particular store can be found at 11 Angelo Maspoli Street in Mendrisio and it marks Switzerland’s ninth franchise.
Around two hundred people gathered to honor the esteemed Habanos viewers and INTERTABAK AG friends at the opening ceremony. INTERTABAK AG was one among the few distinguished guests present at the ceremony, alongside Tony Hoevenaars, whom they represent alongside Alberto Donar and Yannick Goetschy. Other Chairmen also included Louis-Charles Levy. Quite a few personalities invited for the evening included Mr Menzi, the 2004 Hombre Habanos holder and owner of the first La Casa del Habano in Switzerland and wife of Anita Sisimbro from LCDH Napoli, also including Mr Valerio Cornale who owns LCDH Grand Cayman and Hombre Habanos 2016, Mr Francesco Minetti amongst others as well. Furthermore prominent people present included Mr Ajay Patel member of the LCDH London and Mr Massimo CEO and founder of the DeArt a Walk-In-Humidor Company.
As night descended into an environment most proffered and delectable, the management of LCDH Mendrisio treated all attendees with an extravagant and exquisite buffet crafted by the store’s Chief Chef, Luca Fanigliulo. During the event, guests enjoyed smoking the La Gloria Cubana Exclusive La Casa del Habano Edition cigars, and the Montecristo No.5, all while popping the Champagne Perrier-Jouet along with various Cuban Rum, cocktails, and the Havana Club Selección de Maestros: the event was remarkable.
Alain Proietto and Sofia Belfasto are the owners of two Habanos Specialist stores in the southern part of Switzerland which goes by the name Cigar Must.
